Step 1: Candidates seeking for admission must fill up the "Request for Application" and take print out of the same. The printed copy of the Request for Application and a demand draft for Rs. 600/- drawn in favour of the Managing Director, Chennai School of Ship Management, payable at Chennai should be sent to: The Managing Director, Chennai School of Ship Management, New No.2/156 (Old No.2/14) School Street, Vandalur Kelambakkam Road, Chennai - 600 048, Tamil Nadu.
Step 2: On receiving the Request for Application and the demand draft, CSSM will send the formal application and Prospectus. After sending the Request for Application to CSSM, in case the candidates do not receive the Formal Application and prospectus, they should contact us by e-mail admission@cssmmarine.com or by phone at 096001-30804, 094440-87042 & 044-24514927 with details of the Reference Number, DD number, filled in date & bank.
The formal application duly filled in should be sent to us within 10 days from the date of announcement of +2 board examinations along with following documents to the Managing Director, Chennai School of Ship Management, New No.2/156 (Old No.2/14) School Street, Vandalur Kelambakkam Road, Chennai - 600 048, Tamil Nadu.
- Attested copy of 10th Marksheet
- Attested copy of +2 Marksheet
- Attested copy of Transfer Certificates
- Attested copy of any other merit certificates, i.e., Sports / NSS / NCC / Scout
- Copies of Medical Reports on
- Blood Test = HB%, TC, DC, ESR, Blood Platelet count, VDRL, Blood Grouping and RH typing
- X-Ray (Report only)
- ECG in all leads
- Urine Analysis
- Eye Test, Ear Test
(Note: They can undergo the above medical tests in any Government or Private Diagnostic Centre).
Step 3: On receiving the filled in application form, candidates will be intimated about the date and time of interview with other important instructions to attend the interview. In case candidates do not receive any information from CSSM about the interview within 10 days, they may communicate the details about their application, i.e., Name of Student, Address, Telephone number and mail ID, to CSSM by mail to admission@cssmmarine.com or by telephone 096001-30804 / 094440-87042 & 044-24514927.
NOTE:
Candidates must attend the interview on the date and time allotted to them. After the personal interview, the performance of the candidate will be scrutinized and selection will be announced.
