Capt.Sandeep Kalia, Head of Fleet Personnel Department, GOL visited CSSM on 16th July,2010 and inaugurated the Hydraulics and Refrigeration Lab. Mr.G.V.Ramanigopal, MD, Mr.A.Ramasubramania Pillai, Principal and entire Faculty team were present for the inauguration.

Cadets presented Guard of Honour to Capt.Kalia with band in attendance played by CSSM team. Capt. Kalia during his speech, talked in detail about Mr. Soli C. Engineer, the Executive Director, GOL’s Quality Policy and Training and GOL vessels. He suggested cadets to look upon Mr.Soli C Engineer as a Role Model, as sheer passion and dedication has taken him to high levels in Marine industry. Mr.A.Ramasubramania Pillai praised profusely the GOL team for providing excellent training to CSSM Cadets during their onboard training in GOL vessels. He said that the cadets are highly disciplined on their return and perform better in their Phase 3. There was an open session for cadets with Capt.Kalia and he cleared their doubts. Mr.G.V. Ramanigopal, MD-CSSM , while offering Vote of Thanks, thanked the GOL team for their continued support to CSSM.

Later he inspected the various facilities of the institute and was very much impressed with the facilities and the training imparted to the cadets.
